Mini Mosaic Brooch and Earring set are a colorful, delightful vintage treasure. Stamped on the back 'Italy',these are from an Estate dating 1950. Micro Mosaic is made by inserting tiny pieces of colorful Italian glass into a frame to create a picture, in this case flowers with an edge of happy yellow dots. Italian glass is known for it's vibrant true color. The brooch measures 35mm x 27mm, the clip-on style earrings measure 17mm x 13.5mm. I believe the set is gold plated over brass. $85. for the set
